Getting Into The Dress

Although I’ve given some little nuggets of advice in the blog post ‘Bridal Prep” I feel that ‘Getting Into The Dress’ warrants it’s own post. As I explain in the previous post I never take pictures of the actual getting into the dress as I’m not sure anyone would want that (!) but I wait outside the room until the bride is decent and the dress is up but not done up. Being a female photographer has it’s advantages throughout a wedding day but bridal prep is a time when it really comes into it’s own and I’ve had plenty of brides tell me that they felt so comfortable having me there with them and their closest friends. Here are some photos I’ve taken over the years of this lovely part of the bridal prep.
